Save Our Fish Stocks

S.O.F.S Incorporated Is an elected committee representing recreation anglers on the South & West Coast fishing zones.

Our prime agenda is to lobby the minister for fisheries Norman Moore & the Department of Fisheries to consider banning gillnets.

South Australian Fisheries are already trailing wet lining as a means of supplying fresh fish to the public.
The Department of Fisheries admit to the fact no research focussed on the stock status of demersal scale fish on the South Coast has been taken, yet WAFIC claim it is completely sub-stainable on what basis do they claim this.
